Brandon M. Clark CFP®
Brandon is an Investment Advisor and is the Head of Business Development at The Clark Group. He takes pride in delivering excellent service and proactively communicating with clients on how to accomplish their financial goals. Brandon focuses on comprehensive financial planning for his clients — whether clients are rolling over a 401(k) to an IRA, setting up a 529 plan for a child, asset protection strategies, and inheritance planning, Brandon is ready to help them put a plan into place.
Brandon began his career in 2017 and spent the first year and a half out of college at William Morris Endeavor, one the world's largest talent agencies, and was in the Motion Picture Talent Department. After spending time in entertainment, he decided to make the jump to the securities industry and joined the Merrill Lynch trainee program in 2018. He obtained his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses while in the trainee program, and gained pivotal experience in the wealth management industry through the lens of a large Wirehouse firm.
While at The Clark Group, Brandon has helped individuals and families with creating personalized financial plans, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Brandon is passionate about understanding his client’s objectives with their assets, and then designing a financial plan to meet their long-term goals. Brandon deals with high-net-worth families and executives whose goals are to not only plan for their own investments and finances, but also for their children and generations to come. He believes that The Clark Group provides a family office experience to each client of the firm. He is also working on becoming a Certified Private Wealth Advisor through Yale's SOM program.
Brandon graduated from the University of California San Diego with a B.A. in Communications and an emphasis in Business, and received an athletic scholarship to play on the NCAA tennis team. Brandon currently lives in Orange County with his wife, Zailey. Brandon enjoys giving his time back to the community in Dana Point, and is on the Board of Directors as the Treasurer for the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce, as well as serving on the finance committee. In his free time he enjoys playing tennis, reading books, going to concerts, and volunteering at a non-profit in Orange County called KidWorks.
